The Waimarino/ Rangitikei contingent consisted of local senior scouts Jimmy

Samson and Tony Baker both of Ohakune as well as scouts Matthew Henderson, Erin O'Brien and Kerry Baker also of Ohakune and scouts Stephen Peach, Shaun Dempsey, John Binzeggerand Mark Donghi of Raetihi. Their leader was John Anwyll of Ohakune.
