Pupils of Ohakune Primary School line up to admire the handiwork of their parents, teachers and the school committee who have spent several weekends on PTA working bees to provide an all-weather playing and lunch area. By the time the work is finished 360 square metres of concrete will have been poured over a grassy area that was notorious for becoming a waterlogged sea of mud following rain. The area will be landscaped with plained areas and seating.
