'Copter crash victims improving but cause still a mystery

The condition of all three Army Officers injured in the helicopter crash near Waiouru on Friday 1 1 November is improving.

Captain Peter Speedy is progressing well in Middlemore Hospital while the condition of both Major Phillip Blundell and Captain Gary Lough who are in the spinal unit at Otara is improving steadily. The cause of the RNZAF Sioux helicopter crash is not yet known. A 3-man RNZAF court of inquiry is still investigating the accident and there is so far no indication as to the length of the inquiry nor the possible cause.
