It's a big week for the Army Training Group in Waiouru this week. Tomorrow, Wednesday 7 December, 1 16 regular force cadets will take part in the annual passing out parade before Colonel Frank Rennie, Colonel Commandant of the Special Air Services division. Of these, 26 will be senior cadets who have attended a 2-year course while the other 90 are j unior cadets with one year 's training behind them. The parade takes place at 12.45 and is open to the public.

At 1 1 .45 the next day the Governor General, Sir David Beattie, will formally open the Senior NCO (sergeant and warrant. officers') mess and accommodation blocks (pictured). Also on Thursday 8 December at 2.00 pm the Governor General will review the passing out parade of 22 Officer Cadets of whom one is Singaporean and two are lady cadets. They will all graduate as second lieutenants. This parade is also open to the public.
