Ruapehu College Prizegiving
The Ruapehu College Prize-giving was held on Thursday afternoon 10 November. Well known entertainer Howard Morrison was guest speaker. The following prizes were awarded: Sports Award Athletics Senior Girls Champion (Turners & Growers Cup) Joanne Oliver, Intermediate Boy Champion (Warner Cup) Johnathon Horne, Senior Boy Champion (Turners & Growers Cup) Lyndon Kurukaanga. Cross Cojuntry Senior Girl Champion Joanne Olive, Senior Boy Champion (Dillon Shield) Bill Farmer. Rugby Most Improved Player in 1st XV Cup Craig Eades, Best and Fairest Player in lst XV Gabriel Te Moana, Special Prize - highest number of points and most tries in one season Lyndon Kurukaanga.
