Athletic club formed in Rangataua
Rangataua formed its own amateur athletic club last Thursday night. At an inaugural meeting attended by eight local residents the following officers were elected: president Jill Evans; secretary/ treasurer Lynley Harrison; committee members: John Breen, Val Drayton, Margaret Potaka,
Margaret Paris, Marg^^B| Billington and Annetre^ Schrier. The club proposes to hold weekly athletic meetings on the Rangataua Domain. Up until Xmas meetings will be held on Monday nights commencing 6.30pm and as from 1 1 January Wednesday night will be club night.
