Pony Club
The Ohakune Branch of the Waimarino Pony Club held their open day on Saturday 5 November. Twenty-four children attended along with f'ive adult riders. In spite of one shower of rain, it was an enjoyable day, and a lot of fun for the children. Another day to look forward to is the Rotary Fair on the 26 November, the main attraction for Pony Club members being the picnic races. There is a King Country branch meeting on the 24 November to make arrangments for a combined training day and O.D.E. at Rokes' property on 1 1 and 12 December. These events will be open to non-pony club members and adults as non-com- . petifors. The entry fee will be S3'.()0
