More burglaries in Ohakune

Two Ohakune business premises were burgled last week — one of them for the second time within a few days. The Rendezvous Dairy which had ninety cartons of cigarettes valued at $1400 stolen in the previous burglary was broken into again and had chocolates, sweets and cigarettes to the value of $530 taken for the second time within a week. Entry was gained through a window which the thieves smashed. Crown Farmers was also broken into and a car radio cassette player valued at $300 as well as a chilly bin and two pairs of shoes taken.
