Garden competition... reminder
The Ohakune Garden Circle wishes to remind householders that their gardens can be entered for the. first ever 'Ohakune Garden Competition'if their applications are received by Wednesday 30 November. Entry is free and every garden within the borough of Ohakune is eligible ... just call in to Kunikraft or give them' a ring to register your name and address. ^^Jalf a dozen entries have ^Bn received so far but in the remaining two weeks
before the competition closes the Ohakune Garden Circle are hoping for a lot more. Judging of the gardens will take place during the first fortnight of December. The gardens will not be divided into any particular categories for this first of what is hoped to become an annual competition "Prizes will be awarded on general appearance, colour, maintenance etc", said Mrs Bea Barnes of the Ohakune Garden Circle.
There will be three prizes of shrubs and roses which have been donated by the Ohakune Borough Council, the Ohakune Garden Circle and Kunikraft. You've got to be in to win. so why not contact Kunikraft — now.
