Racing with BULLY
Congratulations Kiwi. What a fantastic performance to come from so far back in the field to win the Melbourne Cup in such an impressive manner. All credit to the trainer, Mr Snow Lupton from Waverley who as usual was so modest after his great victory and
,also to Jimmy Cassidy who rode a masterly race. It was a great day for New Zealand. This Tuesday sees the running of the New Zealand Trotting Cup and I am golng to suggest that Derby, the up and coming star of the South Island, will give some of his rivals a decent go for it. He is my pick. On the Saturday it is the New Zealand galloping cup at Riccarton but as yet I have not seen the field for this one. I do like the lead up form of Auditory who won well last week and promises to keep the Mainlanders in with a chance. If Le Ana does go south I must consider her with a show. The Otaki Maori Club races in the part of the
country and Tomatin Purple is over due for a win. If fined up here he could get his reward. Extra Glance is working very well at Levin and could show up fresh while another from that track to be doing grand work is Rhthym N Shoes. Horses working well ast Awapuni include Diplomatic Kane, Bidston Hill and Chantilly Belle. All of these are worth following in their immediate starts. Elmar was tipped last week and duly obliged at Avondale with a nice double figure dividend. He has held form before and could oblige at Waikato. Remember Bully tips them first, and you read it in the Bulletin.
