Any old rags?
The 10th New Zealand Scout Jamboree is due to be held in Feilding over the New Year weekend 1-2 January 1984. As a fund raising venture for this forthcoming jamboree several scout groups in the Waimarino area are planning 'Old Rags' collection days over the next two weekends 12/13 November and 19/20 November. The Waiouru Scout Group is collecting during the weekend 12/13 November, the Ruapehu (Ohakune) Scouts on the 19/20 November whilst the Raetihi Scout Group has already started collecting and will continue to do so until next weekend. So have your rags ready when the collector calls..
