Garden Competition
A competition organised by the Ohakune Garden Circle to find the three most attractive gardens within the borough of Ohakune will be held this summer. Each of the winning gardeners will receive a prize of garden shrubs or rose bushes donated by the Ohakune Borough Council, the Ohakune Garden Circle and Kunikraft Garden Court. In addition, the overall winner will hold for one year a suitably inscribed trophy donated by the Ohakune Garden Circle. Gardens will bejudged on layout, general maintenance, and overall appearance. Every householder within the borough of Ohakune will be eligible to enter. Entries to the Garden Competition may be made by leaving your name and address at 'Kunikraft' in Goldfinch Street, Ohakune. No entry fee. Only gardens for which an entry is received will bejudged. The judge's decision will be fin^^ Entries will close Wednesday 30th November 1983 and judging will take place during the first two weeks of December.
