Award for Raetihi man
Mr George Chan and his wife, Eileen, travelled from Raetihi last Friday to an investiture ceremony at Government House in Wellington. Mr Chan was awarded the
Queen's Fire Service Medal (Q.F.S.M.) in the Queen's Birthday Honours List, for distinguished service on t-he Raetihi Volunteer Fire Brigade over a 40 year period.
