Butchery changes hands
Raetihi s butcher shop has changed hands. Formerly operated by the Lockyer family, the butchery is now owned and operated by Ian and Ani Turner. The Turners come from Wellington where Ian served his time as a butcher's apprentice. Asked why they'd come to Raetihi, the Turners said that, for a start, they knew that there was room to improve the business. "We liked the challenge" said Ian Turner. "And the town is a friendly one".
