Army buys bikes
The Ministry of Defence has recently committed itself to the purchase of more than one hundred Honda XL motorcycles over a 3-vear period between 1983-1986. These 250cc motorcycles will be distributed throughout New Zealand to the Army Signals Squadron, Militarv Police platoons, Transport units and workshops. The first batch of these motorcycles, in Army green, were seen in Waiouru last week.
