Ohakune Plunket News

The committee meeting for September was held on the 14th at the home of Margaret Weir. General business was discussed. It was noted that all expenses incurred for the redecoration of the Flunket Rooms in Goldfinch St, have now been covered satisfactorily through profits made by the bottle drive, the cake stall and raffles etc. The committee wishes to thank all those people in the community who supported these fundraising efforts. Joan Godfrey has kindly donated two oil paintings to Flunket and these will be on display in the rooms until just before Christmas when they will be raffled. A reminder about the portable cot available for hire - contact Diane Fasco. The annual Flunket collection is to be held between 5-8 October.
