Ruapehu College

The. third term of 1983 began last Monday and on Tuesday — three 6th form students attended a Broadcastingseminar in Wanganui. ★ ★ ★ Internal senior examinations begin in approximately two weeks for U.E. candidates and three weeks for S.C. and Bursary candidates. ★ ★ ★ Jamie Dennison, playing in the Auckland Under 15 Tennis Championships during the holidays won his first round game, and went on to win the plate in his section.

★ ★ ★ Seven Ruapehu College boys were members of the Tongariro Under 16 Soccer representative team which competed in the North Island Under lbtournament. They benefited by the experience and had an enjoyable time. Two teams of Ruapehu College boys competed in the Owhango five-a-side hockey tournament on th^^ last Sunday of the holiday^B The boys were ratht^^ overwhelmed by the competition, but benefited from the experience.
