Badminton

The Kakatahi Badminton Club (of Fields Track Station) arrived at Ohakune Frimary School at 2pm, on 3 September. This was the return of the match on 13 August when Ohakune travelled to Kakatahi in snowand was roundly beaten 7-13. On that occasion however, the loss was overshadowed by the socialising skills of the Ohakune team! Competition included badminton. darts and table tennis. Allan of Kakatahi remains the Champion singles player, but he had to beat off a determined challenge from Matt (Ohakune), finally winning 21-7 before a partisan crowd.

ChampS of the doubles were Julieanne and Steve (Okn.) who won all their games. A good supper was enjoyed by all with both sides equal in the music section. A return match is pleasantly anticipated.
