Farewell party
Ruapehu Radio marked the end of their morith-long stay in Ohakune with a fare-well-and-thank-vou party after ceasing transmission at 5pm on Saturday 3 September. The service they provided will be missed by the local community but they hope to return next year ... and for
longer. Of their short stay in the Waimarino and their Ruapehu Radio's assignment everyone said that it had been the most rewarding and enjovable experience ever. with so much local input making the involvement interesting.
