Waiouru C.W.I. Report

The August meeting of the Waiouru Country Women's Institute was held at the home of Mrs Swinbourne. Mesdames Sue Clarke, Christine Murray and Irene Barnett were welcomed in as new members. After finishing with the business of the meeting, Mr Steve Scott demonstrated his ceramics. It was quite amazing to see how each article could look so different with the different glazes used. The roll call was a trinket box, with members bringing along many and varied samples of a trinket box. Mrs D. Jones won the monthly points cup and Mrs S. Swinbourne won the Pedley trophy.
