Racing with BULLY
What a fantastic dividend Prince Majestic paid at Terapa in the Foxbridge Plate. We all know what a champion he is, and it is unbelievable to think he could be at odds of 30 to one. If Ray Verner, his trainer, decides to by-pass Ellerslie this week and brings Prince Majestic down to Wanganui for the Tim Rogers stakes, there could be a record crowd to witness the clash between Axeman, Debs Mate and Prince Majestic.
As I recently predicted, Tanalyse won well at Foxton and I feel that he will go on with it for a while yet. Another good winner was Tredici, while Formality justified his favouritism by heading home the second leg. All these horses could be on hand at Wanganui and I would think they would be good bets again. Remember a couple of weeks ago I suggested you stay with Danos ... well don't forget him and he is trained at Wanganui too. An improver from Foxton could be the Paddy Bussitin trained Shazaam. He showed good form at this time last year and he is looking cherry ripe again. Retsina will be worth sticking with at his next start while Volare is also very nearly in the right frame of mind to salute the judge. Bully tips them first and yes, you read it in the BULLETIN.
