Saturday 20 August After the previous weekend when snow stopped any play (result of the snow dance), spring conditions saw a reasonable turnout with a number of matches being played. A stableford competition resulted S. Magee 39, T. Tapp 37. 2s were scored by T. Tapp on Nos 3 and 14. Sunday 21 August Good conditions and a good number of matches resulted in some very good scores. Tops in the medal competition were:Senior I. Godfrey 63, C. Mudgway 66, D. Windle 69. Junior T. Spry and D. Herewini 67, B. Goile 68. t The only 2 B. Cranston. Thursday 1 September is the day for the 2nd annual Junction Ski Village sponsored tournament. This is an 18 hole event for both ladies and men. Tee off at 12.30pm followed by an evening meal. Last year this was a very successful day and very well supported. Hopefully it will be well supported this year.
