A young Auckland woman was injured when the car she was driving failed to take 'rugby-park corner' on the Ohakune - Raetihi road on Saturday evening 30 July. She was 16-year old Miss Nicola Buckleton who suffered a back injury and was admitted to Waimarino Hospital. Local traffic officer Graeme Cole and Constable Marty Sutherland (left foreground) are seen inspecting the damaged vehicle.
