Raetihi Primary Sehool Form 1 and 2 students recently tackled a major integrated arts project involving language, mime, drama, music, art and craft based on the theme 'Legend of the Mountains.' The week-long activities were stimulated by a 2-day visit from two arts and craft advisers from the Wanganui Education Board — Mrs Rei Hendry and Allan Mclntyre. Each activity group con-

sisted of 6 children and the legend of how Mt Taranaki separated itself from Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe was depicted by the three murals. Last week the children of Forms 1 and 2 formally presented the school their artwork and aft^^t dedication ceremony conducted by the Rev. T. Hawira the murals were mounted on the walls of the assembly hall.
