COLLEGE WORKDAY

Ruapehu College is to have a 'workday' next week, Wednesday 27 July, to give students an opportunity to raise money for worthwhile projects in the school. Students won't be attending college that day. Instead they will be offering to do work in the communities in which they reside.

Principal Mr Mike Warbrick hopes that the Waimarino / community from which the college draws its students, will support this fundraising effort by offering work. All monies collected will be allocated by the student council themselves to school projects they consider worthwhile.
