COMMUNITY GYMNASIUM OPENING

The Ruapehu College gymnasium is to be offically opened by local King Country MP, Mr Jim Bolger, on Friday 5 August at I0.30am. Principal Mike Warbrick hopes that as many people as possible will attend this opening function because he wants everyone living in the Waimarino to think of this new gymnasium at the college as a 'community amenity and we invite community participation', he said. Applications for the use of the gymnasium by local clubs should now be forwarded to the Gymnasium Management Committee, c/- Ruapehu College, Ohakune.
