Ski resorts unite
A new national ski association has been formed to coordinate the promotion and marketing overseas of all the ski resorts in NZ. This was the outcome of a meeting held in Auckland last week which resulted in the formation of the 'New Zealand International Ski Marketing Association,' said Turoa's Terry Drayton who attended the meeting.
Other organis. represented at the meeting included Air New Zealand, Mt Cook Tourist Co., Mt Hutt Alpine and Tourist Co., the Tourist Hotel Corporation of NZ and the NZ Department of Tourist and Publicity. More details next week.
