Racing with BULLY
The Trentham Hurdles looks aS though it could be a tricky one to select. Big Drum won the Hawkes Bay Hurdles as he liked and the Central Districts will be well represented in Wellington .with this 8-year old Bandmaster gelding, plus Royal Mana and Baraden, plus possibly, Floodlight and Resolution. My choice for the Parliamentary Handicap would be Our Charlie at this stage with Solitaire and Ancestor showing up on a really heavy track. Another worth a dollar each way would be the class
2 horse Dannick El, a 3-year old from the Searle stable at Levin. He came home very fast and wide out at Hastings to be just pipped by Betim who was under a typical hard ride from Maurice Campbell. A stride past the line and David Walsh had Dannick El in front. Greek Meer suprised a few punters at Avondale, but the 6-year old loves the ground when it is wet and loose, and that is just as it was on Saturday. Watch him if he accepts at Trentham and he gets a track to suit. We seem to have been throwing out places only recently, but two for Wednesday's Wellington meeting which should win are Bully's 'We tip them First' selections — for the ladies, Dannick El and the tip of the week for the boys, is Our Charlie. - Mussella could be a 'dry' . one at his next start.
