Saturday 2nd July A small field played a stableford competition with N. Black 37, R. Pearson and T. Geraghty 35. Two's were scored by N. Black and T. Geraghty. Sunday 3rd July Cold conditions but no rain for 45 players for the final championship qualifying round. Apart from the following players, scoring was not good. Senior: C. Cranston nett 70, B. Goldfinch 71, R. Pearson and A. Berridge 72. Junior: N. Clarke 68, N. Black 70, T. Deighton 71, B. Goile, K. Woollett, P. Ennis and D. Herewini all 72. Two's scored by T. Geraghty, B. Goldfinch, S. Magee, N. Black and G. Imhoff all on No. 9. The first round of championship match play and McKay Cup match play will be on Sunday 17th July. Saturday Cup match play commences on 16th July 1983. .. „ _
