Rangataua Primary School

On Wednesday 22nd June, 40 Rangataua Schopl children started their bike-a-thon to raise money for Telethon. There was a cold wind but all children took part. Starting at 10.00am, the children rode in relays until 2pm covering approximately 375 kms. Before the bike-a-thon had started over $90 in donations had been received from the local community. School principal, John Breen would like to thank the people of Rangataua for

their generous support of the children and the Telethon cause this year. As all mOney is not yet in from sponsors, it is hoped to have raised at least $200.
