Local skydivers qualify

A group of Ohakune people who took part in a skydiving course in February, reeeived their Student Licence certificates recently. Seven ot" the eight participants who completed training, took their first jump over a Karioi property. A great thrill for all - as was obvious when they piled into the Cessna 206 for

the second time! The course was organised by Rita Wise and training carried out by the Manawatu Skydiving Club. Tania Molt has yet to make her jump and join her fellow trainee skydivers -Greg Parkes, Donald Horne, Steven Nation, Julieanne Grantham, Geoff Gillett, Charles Gupwell, Kendall Gupwell.
