Twenty five Turoa Tumble families collected more than 5 tons (150 bags) of pine cones from Karioi recently as part of their fund-raising activities to purchase equipment for their club. The bags of cones are available for sale from John Mcllroy (Ohakune) and Neil McLean (Raetihi).
