GUMDIGGERS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

The above committee met on Saturday last 7th October when the minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received and attended to. Three new members were proposed and unanimously accepted as members of committee. Proposed and carried that the commitee do not act as a body in forming a Liberal Association in Dargaviile. but that each member act independently in assisting to form a branch of the Auckland Liberal Association. Proposed and carried unanimously that reports of committee meetings be sent to the following papers, The Wairoa Bell. ‘ Gumdiggers Weekly,’ ‘ Northern Luminary,’and 'Auckland Weekly News’. The committee then decided that the platform he published on Saturday 2Sth October, along with report of next General committee meeting ; and that the Secretary convene a specal meeting of committee whenever necessary.
