Hobbs believes this to be the only legitimate way of doing business. It is a ‘ perfect fraud ’on the regular customer to mark off goods early in the Season at higher prices, and then later on in the Season to have Cheap Sales, and almost give goods away on the first day of a sale to ‘ draw,’ or create a ‘big rush.’ This is not legitimate business, and most rmfair to the great bulk of regular buyers of Drapery. All our New Goods will be ‘ fine prices,’ and we invite inspection of our Large and New Stock which will be found to be of exceptionally good value.
