WAIROA RUGBY UNION.
A meeting of the above Union was held in the Band of Hopo room, Aratapu, on Wednesday. Mr G. Meredith, YtcePresident, in the chair. The delegates cresent were Messrs W Smith, Jos. MolFoy J. .Nelson, T. Nield, «nd J. Stall worthy. The Secretary reported that he had enquired from the Secretary of the Auckland Union whether Wairoa might make certain of having a match fixed with Auckland this season, and he had received a reply in the affirmative, but that until the Auckland TJnioD knew what dates would be required by Wellington, and the New Zealand tea,"? e 7 WoU * tl be unable to fix a date for Wairoa, to say that it could not be before 12tu August.
