SHIPPING NEWS.
JCaipaha Heads, July 14.—Sailed: Alert, soheoaer, for Lyttleton; Rachel Cohen, brigantine, for Melbourne. Arrived: Vivid, barque, fram Newcastle ; Isabella Anderson, •chooner, from Timaru; Reliance, kotch, from South. The schooner Alert took the first cargo of timber from the new mill at Totara Creek. She sailed fcr Lyttleton on Monday last. Captain Murray, late of the Annie Wilson has taken command of the brigantine Aratapu, which left Auckland on Tuosday for the Northern Wairoa to take up the running of the late Annie Wilson between this port and Lyttleton.
