Several Austrians have already given up the gumfields in disgust, and taken their departure with diminished swags. The Mascotte Dramatic Club have decided to give their entertainment comprising two acts from Balfe’s romantic opera “ Satanella,” and the comedy “ That affair at Lanrel Lodge,” at Aratapu on Tuesday next instead of Wednesday as previously intimated. Owing to pressure on our space we are compelled to hold over our report of the R. M. Court sittings, a portion of our Tatarariki correspondent’s notes, and other correspondence only received this morning. We have not forgotten that we owe our readers additional space, but they must please wait a little longer as we do not wish to speculate at another’s risk. We would call the attention of our leaders to the advertisement of Geo. H. Raymond, the eminent specialist of the eye, ear, throat, and chest, and botanical physician of Auckland.
