PUBLIC notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of ‘ The Counties Act, ISB6 ’ and of ‘The Rating Act 1882 That at an ordinary meeting of the Council of Hobson County to be held at the Council Chambers Aratapu, on Wednesday the Bth day of February 1893, it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a separate rate of sixpence per acre upon the Lands principally benefitted by the drainage and three pence per acre upon the lands less benefitted thereby upon the whole of the rateable property as appearing in the special Valuation Roll for the time being in force of ‘ The Tatarariki Drainage District ’ situated in the Kopuru Riding of the Hobson County for t.he year commenced on the Ist day of April 1592, and ending on the 31st day of March 1893. The stud separate rate to be payable in one sum to the County Clerk (Horace Hammond) at the Council Chambers Aratapu, between the hours of ten a.m and five p.m of Thursday the 2nd day of March 1893. Further notice is hereby given that the rate book will be open for inspection at the Council Chambers by the public without fee during office hours until the said Bth day of February 1893 and all appeals against the rate book in conformity with Section 19 of ‘ The Rating Act 1882 ’ will be heard at the aforesaid meeting.
