For Kaipara Heads, fin Point, Tikinui, Toka Tolca, Whakahara, TeKopuru, Mititai, Aratapu, Mangawhare, and Dargayille, etc. A steamer leaves Helensville Every Monday and Thursday at 10 a.m. (connecting with 6.55 a.m. train from Auckland), returning from Dargaville Every Wednesday and Friday, at 5 a.m. Cargo Steamei' leaves Dargaville for Helensville Every Saturday morning with the tide. Eor Tangiteroria. Steamer leaves Dargaville for Tangiteroria Every Friday —tidal ; returning from Tangiteroria same tide. OTAMATEA BRANCH. For South Head, Bailey, I’ahi, Matakohe, Point Curtis, Pukekaroro, and Maungaturoto. Steamer loaves Helensville Every Monday after arrival of 4.40 p m. train from Auckland, leaving the above ports with tide on Tuesday. S.s. Ethel connects at Batley with above steamer, conveying passengers and cargo for Pukekaroro and Maungatoroto, also with steamer for Port Albert, each Wednesday, at mouth of Otamatea, conveying Passengers Only for Batley, Pahi, Matakohe and Paparoa. For South Head. Port Albert, Top uni Mill, Wellsford, andPaparoa. Steamer loaves Helensville for Port Albert, Topuni Mill, and Wellsford, calling at South Head, Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. (connecting with 6.55 a.m. train from Auckland). S.s. Ethel connects for Paparoa, carrying Passengers only. Cargo for Paparoa must be for warded by steamer leaving Helensville, Monday night, and will ho delivered with passengers on "Wednesday. No cargo will be received for Otamatea ports after the 2.10 p.m. train on Monday, Passengers by night boats can secure tea on board immediately on arrival of train. Terms oe Advertising, Casual Advertisements 2s Cd per inch for the first three insertions, if paid at the time of ordering, subsequent insertions half-price ; 3s per nch if booked. Short advertisements of two lines will be inserted at the rate of one shilling for each of tb e first two insertions, and subsequent insertions at half price, if paid for at the time of ordering. An advance on the above charges will be made in all cases where credit is given. Standing advertisements, for three months or longer, with right of alteration at stated periods, can be arranged for at a very liberal rate.
