Notice of Resolution making a Special Order to make a Special District, PUBEIC NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act 1856,” that at a special meeting of the Council of Hobson County held at the Council Chambers, Aratapu, on AVednesday the fourteenth day of December 1892 a resolution was adopted to declare by “ Special Order,” a “ Special District ” under Section 289 of “ The Counties Act 1886 ” ; the object of the same being 1. For the purpose of affording aid to the owners of private lands in the construction of drainage works under “The Drainage Act 1881 ” to declare that portion of the Hobson County situate in the Kopuru Riding and comprising Sections 1, Reserve 29, 30, 31, 32, 49 and 53 of the Kopuru Parish Sections 5,6, 7, 8,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. 19. 20, 21, 22. 48, 49, 50, 51, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 71, 72, and 73 of the Tatarariki Parish to be a Special District to be called “ The Tatarariki Drainage District.” 2. To levy on all lands in the Special District a separate rate of six pence per acre in each year for three years. 3. To classify all lands within the Special District as lands principally benefited by the drainage. The said< resolution will be confirmed' at a meeting of the said Council to be held at the Council Chambers Aratapu, on the eighteenth day of January 1893, and the Special Order thereby made shall take effect on the twentieth day of January 1893.
