CORRESPONDENCE.
[The editor is not responsible for opinions expressed by correspondents.] (To the Editor). Sir, —Kindly allow me through your columns to thank those who have assisted me in raising funds to plant the grounds of the new parsonage at Mt. W esley ; and to give a brief account of my stewardship. I opened a shilling list, which being readily subscribed to, realised forty shillings, thirty-seven of which are paid. From this amount I spent twenty-five shillings in purchasing trees, three shillings freight, and have handed the balance of twelve shillings to the Rev. J. Blight to defray cost of planting. I should also acknowledge the gift, besides subscription, of a number of valuable assorted trees from Messrs A. Kaynes and M. and A. G, Harding, We have thus been enabled to plant in all nearly three-hundred trees. These if supplemented by contributions of a variety of plants during future seasons should make Mt. Wesley one of the most attractive features in the district scenery.—l am, etc. Edwin Haedino. Manga wh are Aug. 27th 1892.
