ANNUAL SCHOOL PICNIC. OUTING AT SOLWAY. The annual St. Patrick’s Day School picnic was held at the Solway Showgrounds yesterday under ideal picknicking conditions. There was a large attendance of children, parents and friends, and a thoroughly enjoyable Erne was spent, the outing being conducted in the usual successful and
capable manner under the supervision of the lit. J Lev. Monsignor McKenna. A lengthy programme of . athletic events for the children was the principal attraction. These were got oil with the assistance of a number of adult supporters of the school. The skipping competitions were judged by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jackson.
