Bradford buyers chief operators. American buyers only taking super lots. Selection good. Greasy fine half bred 56/58’s clean scoured basis, greasy 'auction price, 244 d. Greasy halfbred, 50/56’s, 21d. Three-quarter-bred, 48/50’s, 18jd. Fine crossbred/ 46/48’s, 17d. Medium cross•bied, 44/46’s, 16; crossbred, 40/44’s, 144 d. Scoured prices 5 per cent higher. Slipe prices 5 pdr cent, higher. Australian Merino part to 5 per cent, higher. TALLOW. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from, their London house, dated March 16: We quote present c.i.f. and e. . alues for the following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton, 36/ per cwt; good beef, 38/; mixed, 35/3. Our quotations are more or less nominal. , DAIRY PRODUCE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report, March 16:— ' Butter. —New Zealand prices reduced to restore demand. 146/ to 148/ per cwt. (salted, 162/ to 164/, unsalted, ICB/ to 170/). Cheese.—Same applies: 76/ to 78/ per cwt. (84/ to 85/).
