A Wellington Press Association message states that the New Zealand Racing Conference yesterday unheld tha appeal of J. S. Barrett against the decision of the Auckland District Committee and awarded J. S. Barrett, owner of Count Cavour and winner of the Clifford Plate, 1927, the third stake money of 50 sovs. under Part 26, Rule 3 of the Rules of Racing. The Conference also ordered Mr. Barrett’s £2O deposit to be returned.
