SPECIAL ADVERTISEMENTS. . WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. ' TN PURSUANCE and exercise of the ' powers vested in it by the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and amendments thereto and all other Acts and Authorities, it in that behalf enabling, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise over the Wangaehu Special Rating Area a special loan of two thousand pounds (£2000) for the purpose of providing additional funds for works, buildings, land and equipment necessary in connection with the generation, distribution and utilization of electric energy within the Wairarapa Electric Power District. It is also proposed to pay out of the moneys so raised the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the loan, together with the cost of raising the loan. The Wairarapa Electric Power Board proposes further:— 1. —To establish a sinking fund of one per cent, per annum to provide for the repayment of the loan on the date of its' maturity. 2. —For the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the Interest and Sinking Fund charges during the currency of the said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding thirty-six and a half years, to make an annually recurring rate of three sixteenths of a penny in the pound (£) upon the capital value of all rateable property situated in the Wangaehu Special Rating Area in the Wairarapa Electric Power District.
