BOARD’S ACTION WELCOMED IN LONDON. CO-OPERATION OF IMPORTERS. CLEARING STOCKS. (Received Tuesday, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. . The London Board convened a meeting of dairy produce traders at which was explained the New Zealand Dairy Board’s decision to abolish price fixation, also its requests to traders to sell definite quantities of cheese and butter by the end of May .and June respectively. The importers heartily welcomed the decision and agreed to give the fullest co-operation and support. They are confident they will be able to dispose of the quantities specified at economic values. —(Sydney “Sun.’’)
