TRUST LANDS TRUST. MONTHLY MEETING,' SECONDARY SCHOOLS BOARD' REPRESENTATIVE. The usual monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust was held last evening, the chairman, Mr. R. Krahagen presiding. There were also present Messrs. T. Wagg, D. Douglas, G. Selly, W. H. Jackson, J. L. Hughes, J. M. Coradine and E. G. Eton. An apology was received from Mr. D. Caselberg. The treasurer reported a debit balance of £7O Bs. 4d. Rentals received for the month totalled £515 9s. Id. Accounts amounting to £914 3s. 7d. were passed for payment. Included in the accounts were grants as follows: Masterton Technical School, £3OO (annual grant 1926-27); Soldiers’ Park Board, £lOO (repayment of second debenture); Wairarapa High School, £SO (final grant for grounds); for school books, £lO 15s. 7d. Mr. G. Selby was re-appointed to represent the Trust on the Wairarapa Secondary Schools Board. The secretary of the District Schoels Library wrote forwarding invoices showing books purchased at a cast of £24 17s. sd. and applying for a grant cf £25. In pursuance of a former resolution passed by the Trust, the request was granted. An application by a Trust tenant for the cancellation of the lease held by him was held over for a month, the secretary in the meantime to enquire into the matter.
