Fourteen thousand ounces of gold, valued at £35,000, one of the largest shipments yet made from the New Guinea fields, have reached Sydney. Some returning gold-seekers declare that the richness of the fields has been greatly exaggerated. Prospectors hope that the commencement of aeroplane transport at tho end of April will facilitate exploration of the gold-bear-ing areas. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED.
