DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET.
ALARM IN AUCKLAND DISTRICT. REQUEST TO PRIME MINISTER FOR INFORMATION. AUCKLAND, March 4. A conference of dairy company directors, representing the companies in the South Auckland district, with an annual output of 5800 tons of dairy produce, was held at Morrinsviile to-day. A resolution was passed unanimously (urgently appealing to the Prime Minister in view of the unsettled conditions of the English market and the large accumulations of New Zealand butter, to make a report to the dairying industry concerning his personal investigations of the conditions obtaining in London.—(P.A.)
