A WEEK’S RIDE.
AUCKLAND TO PALMERSTON NORTH. NOVEL EQUESTRIAN PERFORMANCE. WANGANUI, March 3. G. M. Bell, of Karere, Palmerston North, who is riding from Auckland to Palmerston North within the space of a week and without resources other than his horse,' arrived in Wanganui to-night in ample time to complete his journey to-morrow afternoon.
His adventures en route include losing his way two or three times and a collision with a motor car which slightly injured his horse.—(P.A.).
